The 2018 - 2019 ice season got off to a late start around the end of January, and only lasted around two weeks.
2017 - 2018 This season came in surprisingly early in late December, and lasted to the last week of January
2016 - 2017 was a bad season, with a warm winter and little climbable ice.
Very sparce season. Only decent climbing we found was at the end of January at Ricketts Glen.
The 2014 - 2015 season was one of the better winters. The ice climbing season lasted from the beginning of January until the middle of March.
The winter of 2013 - 2014 was a very good season with ice climbing beginning in the middle of December and lasted until the middle of March.
2012 - 2013 was a typical PA ice climbing season with climbable conditions appearing the last week of January, and lasted through most of February
2011 - 2012 was a unseasonably warm winter with little or no ice to climb
2010 - 2011 started early in late December and offered decent climbing conditions into the latter part of February
2009 - 2010 was a typical Pennsylvania ice climbing season starting in the beginning of January and ending in the middle of February
2008 - 2009 season offered 6 weeks of climbing from the middle of January to the end of February
2007 - 2008 was a short season that got a late start, and only lasted the month of February
2006 - 2007 got off to a late start, but offered good conditions from the beginning of February into the middle of March
2005 - 2006 was a great season lasting from the middle of December until the first week of March
The 2004 - 2005 season got off to a late start, but offered good conditions from the end of January into the last half of March
2003 - 2004 was a typical PA ice season, with climbers getting their sticks in from the middle of January through February
2002 - 2003 was a great season, despite a late start towards the end of January. Climbing continued until the middle of March
